Powered by EmberZNet PRO(TM) EM357 ZigBee chip, MeshConnect(TM) EM357 Mini Modules enable monitoring and control in energy management, smart home, LED lighting, and machine-to-machine applications. Low and high output powers of +8 dBm and +20 dBm allow designers to choose radio performance that best suits requirements. EM357 SoC IC combines RF transceiver with baseband modem, hard-wired MAC, and embedded 32-bit ARM® Cortex(TM)-M3 MCU with 12 KB internal RAM and 192 KB flash memory.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., -- California Eastern Laboratories (CEL) announces sample availability of its new MeshConnect(TM) EM357 Mini Modules, powered by the premier ZigBee chip, the EM357 from Ember Corporation.
High Performance ZigBee with Mini Footprint
Running the leading ZigBee stack, EmberZNet PRO(TM), CEL Mini Modules enable monitoring and control in Energy Management, Smart Home, LED lighting and Machine-to-Machine applications. MeshConnect EM357 Mini Modules feature the smallest footprint of all Ember-based modules available today. Designs benefit from sharply reduced PCB real estate, enabling smaller form factors and lower costs while achieving higher performance. Low- and high-output powers (+8dBm and +20dBm) allow designers to choose radio performance that best suits their requirements. With a highly integrated front end IC, the high-power modules provide a market leading +123 dB link budget.
