Korenix has deployed its Ethernet technology- Super ChainTM in JetNet 4508Gv2 Industrial 8-port Managed Fast Ethernet Switch and JetNet 5012G Industrial 8 Gigabit Managed Ethernet Switch and plan to extend on other switches in order to provide reliable link operation , high compatibility, easy configuration and cost efficacy. With the support, Korenix switches can be operated quickly and easily in any sort of complex redundant network.
Korenix Super Chain TM is a Highly flexible self-healing Ethernet technology designed for massive and complicated industrial networks, the innovative Super ChainTM is to deploy multiple chains to connect with Korenix Multiple Super Ring (MSR) technology to extend a more complex industrial network.Â
Reliable system operation - If a segment of the chain fails at any time, the networks can recover in less than 10ms. It also can work efficiently in a huge network which possesses up two hundred switches.
High compatibility - Users can create a new independent chain by connecting border switches and member switches, Super ChainTM which are compatible to interoperate with Multiple Super Ring (MSR) or other redundant network, for example RSTP, MSTP, STP and ERPS.
Easy configuration and Cost effecticient - managing Super ChainTM just needs to define ports and roles of the border switches in the switch chain. Compared with ring coupling solutions or network redesign, Super ChainTM saves substantial developmental costs, such as time, effort, cables, and Ethernet ports.
