Southborough, MA - Device Technologies, Inc. announces the new Trim-Fast S Series Edge Trim, the latest addition to its successful Spring-Fast Wire Protection Grommet Edging family of products.
RoHS compliant Trim-Fast is, a better, cleaner, and faster way to cover sharp panel edges and protect critical electronic equipment from damaging wire and cable abrasion conditions and enhance the appearance of the equipment. The Trim-Fast S series edge trim products consist of a broad range of profile shapes and sizes manufactured with a unique steel or stainless steel substrate, wire or segmented clip, which snaps-on instantly to panel thickness' from 0.029 (0.74 mm) to 0.750(19.1mm) and locks into place without adhesives.
The high tensile strength and flexible substrate is encapsulated with a smooth abrasion resistant elastomeric polymer; EPDM, Silicone or PVC to resist abrasion damaging conditions, tested in accordance to ASTM, FMVSS and SAE flame, toxicity and weathering qualifications. The encapsulated substrate is flexible and has superior insertion and extraction force capabilities to snap over any panel edge. Trim-Fast is specifically designed for use in the rail, aviation, avionics, automotive, military, telecommunications, agricultures, construction and marine industries within applications including telecommunication cabinets, avionic systems, transportation vehicles, honeycomb panels, boats, farming and general industrial equipment. Trim-Fast is provided in 100 foot boxes or customer specified length.
