September 14, 2011 - Using MEMS-based mirror/prism technology and supporting Gigabit data rates, QuickSwitch 6302 allows 2 channels quick connection to any one of 2 LC Duplex fiber optic networks from one computer. User can change switch position, lockout front panel pushbutton control, or obtain switch status via Telnet command interface or GUI. IP-addressable and password-protected, switch maintains switch position upon power loss and continues to pass data. Switch ports are transparent to all data.

Model 6302 Dual Channel LC Duplex Switch is an Essential Tool for Centrally Operated Network Management Systems


Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced the new QuickSwitch 6302 Dual Channel Fiber Optic A/B Switch with Telnet and GUI Remote Control. This LC Duplex Switch allows 2 channels quick connection to any one of two LC Duplex fiber optic networks from one computer. The user can easily change switch position, lockout front panel pushbutton control or obtain switch status via Telnet command interface or graphical user interface. Model 6302 is IP Addressable and password protected for critical, secure, reliable network alternate-path switching.

This Fiber Optic Switch uses cutting edge MEMS-based mirror/prism technology and supports Gigabit data rates. The QuickSwitch 6302 switch ports are transparent to all data and the unit maintains switch position on power loss and continues to pass data.
