Parker's New High-Pressure Clamping Cylinder Targeted to Tool and Die Industries

DES PLAINES, Illinois (November 1, 2002) - Parker introduces the Series CHH and CHL line of hydraulic, cost-effective high-pressure clamping cylinders with short delivery lead times.

"The short stroke Series CHH and CHL Hydraulic Cylinders are available with NPT or SAE ports, have a double rod end option, and offer mounts that make them especially competitive to manufacturers in the tool and die industries," explains Christopher Parafinczuk, Parker Hydraulic Product Manager.

The extruded steel Series CHH Hydraulic Cylinder is available in 20 to 80mm bore sizes. For mounting flexibility, manufacturers can choose from through bolt or foot mounts.

The Series CHL Hydraulic Cylinder is manufactured from an aluminum extrusion with bore sizes from 32mm to 80mm. For economical mid- to end-of-stroke position sensing, reed or Hall effect switches are available on this high pressure cylinder. Standard cylinders ship from the factory in only five days.

This product is designed to serve the tool and die industries in a variety of clamping applications.
