April 21, 2010 - Available in 2-8 in. sizes, PoolMaster(TM) Valves feature PVC body and disc with EPDM liner. Units are immune to electrolytic and galvanic corrosion, and contain no byproducts that can leach out and contaminate water and other sensitive fluids. One-piece body incorporates fully supported flanged bolt holes to prevent stressing of mating pipe flanges, while blowout-proof 316 SS shaft and full body liner assure positive sealing of liner to valve body.

Hayward Flow Control Systems, Clemmons, NC, a division of Hayward Industrial Products has announced availability of their new PoolMaster(TM) Butterfly Valves for commercial swimming pools, aquariums, water parks, water treatment, irrigation, and many other applications.

Economical and highly reliable, PoolMaster(TM) Valves feature a PVC body and disc with EPDM liner, are available in 2" - 8" sizes, are immune to electrolytic and galvanic corrosion, and contain no byproducts that can leach out and contaminate water and other sensitive fluids.

Unlike other plastic butterfly valves, Hayward valves are constructed from a one piece body that incorporates fully supported flanged bolt holes to prevent stressing of the mating pipe flanges. A blowout-proof 316 SS shaft and a full body liner assure positive sealing of the liner to the valve body.

A solid integral ISO 5211 mounting pad assures smooth operation with a lever handle, gear or actuator. Available options include gear operators, electric or pneumatic actuators, actuator mounts, and stem extensions.
