October 1, 2009 - Suited for HVAC applications, Series VTT Hot-Wire Transmitter offers field-selectable velocity and temperature ranges in English or metric units with maximums up to 6,000 fpm (30 m/s) and 212°F (100°C). Housed in ABS enclosure rated NEMA 4X, units are offered with or without 5-digit LCD display and are available in duct mount version or remote probe version with cable.

Dwyer Instruments, Inc., the preferred source for your complete range of practical and affordable instrumentation, is announcing the release of its NEW SERIES VTT HOT-WIRE AIR VELOCITY/TEMPERATURE TRANSMITTER designed for HVAC applications that require both velocity and temperature monitoring.

The Series VTT Hot-wire Air Velocity and Temperature Transmitter provides sensing for both air velocity and temperature, simplifying greatly installation time by eliminating the need to supply two separate components. The VTT offers field-selectable velocity and temperature ranges in English (FPM, °F) or metric (m/s, °C) units with maximums up to 6000 FPM (30 m/s) and 212°F (100°C). The units are available with or without an LCD display and are available in either a duct mount or remote probe with cable installations. The VTT is a useful transmitter for many common HVAC applications.
