High Temperature Pulsable Tungsten IR Lamp
February 05, 2006, HelioWorks, Inc. has developed and manufactures a pulsable tungsten filament IR emitter with a sapphire window in an industry standard TO-8 package that operates at 1900°K. This lamp provides intense IR radiation out to a wavelength of 5500 nanometers. Various filament sizes are available depending on the desired pulse frequency and modulation. A US patent for this high temperature lamp was issued in October, 2006.
