September 22, 2011 - Scheduled for Nov 16, 2011, workshop on New Sensor Technologies will provide forum to promote discourse and disseminate advances in sensor technology as it applies to fatigue, fracture, and mechanical testing, as well as present limitations of existing sensor technology. Some presentation topics will include non-contact video strain measurements, eddy current sensors for crack length determination, and progress in developing fatigue crack standards.

ASTM International Fatigue and Fracture Committee Sponsors Workshop on New Sensor Technologies

The fee to attend the workshop for ASTM members, session chairs and presenters is $50 USD for online registration and $75 USD for onsite registration. The fee for non-ASTM members is $75 USD for online registration and $100 USD for onsite registration There is no fee for students with a valid ID.
