ASABE Revises Combine and Grain - Harvesting Terminology Standard
ST JOSEPH, MICHIGAN — The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) announces the completion of ANSI/ASAE S343.4, Terminology for Combines and Grain Harvesting.
The revision aligns terminology with currently used practices. The standard contains terminology pertinent to grain combine design and performance, improves communication among engineers and researchers and provides a basis for comparative listing of machine specifications.
ASABE members with standards access and those with site-license privileges can access the full-text via electronic download on the ASABE online Technical Library at elibrary.asabe.org/. Others can obtain a copy for a fee directly from the library or by contacting ASABE headquarters at OrderStandard@asabe.org.
