W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., 25 November 2008-Aviation Fuels: Specifications and Test Methods, a Technical and Professional Training course sponsored by ASTM International, focuses on how specifications are used to control the quality of aviation fuels and why they affect product performance and availability. The course emphasizes practical applications and ASTM's role in developing specifications and methods, while highlighting past and current problems. The course features a tour of either an airport fueling facility or fuel farm. This class is designed for supervisors, managers and other professionals in the fields of laboratory operations, fuel handling, purchasing, fuel system design, fuel marketing and sales and quality control.

The course will be held four times in 2009:
April 28-30 San Diego, Calif.
June 9-11 Denver, Colo.
July 7-9 St. Louis, Mo.
Oct. 20-22 Baltimore, Md.

The attendance fee is $1095 and includes all ASTM standards and manuals referenced in the course, course notes, transportation to and from the demonstration site and refreshment breaks.
