LAKE OSWEGO, OR - January 14, 2009 - Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optic product and solution manufacturing company, announced new hires and a promotion to start the New Year. The current economic climate has not deterred certain key industries from experiencing growth, and as a result, additional customer service support was required.
Diana Bullen. Ms. Bullen has joined the Timbercon family as Inside Sales Assistant. She brings considerable sales and marketing experience to her new position through efforts within the manufacturing industry as well as fiber optics. Additional qualifications include Project Management, Administration, Purchasing and a Bachelor of Art, Business/Journalism, from CSU - Fresno.
Nick P. Weston. Mr. Weston will also serve as Inside Sales Assistant. He brings several years of Inside Sales and Customer Service experience to his new role as a result of positions held within the manufacturing sector. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science from the School of Journalism and Communication.
Srey Thorsfeldt. Ms. Thorsfeldt, a current Timbercon employee, was promoted to Inside Sales Assistant after starting in production. Within a year, she advanced from fiber optic assembler to production assistant and has now been promoted to her Inside Sales position. Prior to Timbercon, she worked within the financial services industry, specializing in foreign currency exchange.
According to John Lee, Jr., Timbercon's Vice President Sales & Marketing, "Timbercon has experienced record growth over the past eight years. To address this need, we realized that expanding the sales force was imperative. The sales and customer service experience these individuals provide make them integral in achieving goals as we expand into new markets." He also noted that many of the Inside Sales Assistants are presented with growth opportunities as markets develop.
