Atlanta, GA, 30318
USA

Press release date: September 1, 2010

Products for every use / New listings include: Intelligent ejectors, FIPA vacuum grippers and Bernoulli vacuum cups

292 pages of innovative products and crafted solutions: This is the look of the new Vacuum Components catalog distributed by FIPA in Ismaning. "The scope of the updated catalog graphically illustrates how wide the FIPA product range has grown in the field of vacuum components. We are continuously improving our portfolio to be able to offer products for all applications in the field of pick & place," says Rainer Mehrer, FIPA President and Owner.

Over 100 new products have been added to the catalog, including:

o Intelligent ejectors with integrated air-pressure controls to reduce the compressed air consumption to a steady 4 bar. That lowers energy costs. The ejectors are available in three model series reliably generating the vacuum needed no matter what the porosity of the work-piece.

o FIPA vacuum grippers in six standard sizes for a reliable grip when handling a wide range of materials. The clever valve technology reduces compressed air consumption and energy costs. The wear-resistant foam suction mats guarantee long life.

o Bernoulli vacuum cups for handling extremely thin and sensitive work-pieces, for example in the fields of photovoltaics and semiconductors (wafers). The vacuum grippers can be quickly installed ready to operate; their minimized compressed air consumption reduces operating costs.

Other new items in the catalog are pneumatically operated lifting cylinders for fast cycle times as well as a wide selection of vacuum units. All in all, the broad FIPA product range fills eleven chapters from vacuum generation to vacuum squeezers.

Construction, use and application plainly described

All the vacuum components are designed to work together as modules and guarantee the greatest reliability in terms of generating, regulating, controlling and monitoring vacuums. Whether for the development of a line of standardized products or custom solutions: FIPA always has the requirements and needs of its customers in mind for a smooth material flow.

This is also the philosophy which has guided the company in the design of the current catalog: The clear, attractive layout gives customers extensive information about the construction, use and purpose of each of the products as well as their technical specifications and dimensions in clearly structured sections. Large product photographs and illustrations help the readers.

In the appendix of the catalog there is a questionnaire to help customers state precisely what they want. There is also a telephone number for enquiries and support: 011800-2255 3472 or feel free to call FIPA directly at +1 (800) 913-7002. The catalog can also be downloaded from the web at www.fipa.com.
