Technic Announces Purchase of Selected Assets of Metfab Technologies, Inc.
Technic Equipment Division is pleased to announce that it has purchased selected assets of Metfab Technologies, Inc.. In particular Metfab's intellectual property related to reel-to-reel electroplating and electropolishing equipment is being transferred to Technic. As part of the transaction, several key personnel will also join Technic. Paul Scorpio, formerly VP of Operations at Metfab will take on the position of Reel-to-Reel Technology Director. Stu Raifman, formerly VP of Sales and Marketing at Metfab will assume the role of Senior Applications Specialist within the group.
"The technology we have acquired from Metfab, together with the experience of the personnel transferring to Technic, expands and strengthens our equipment capabilities." says Anthony Guglielmo, VP of Technic Equipment. "It follows our proven history of developing unique products, such as the Spouted Bed Electroplater (SBE), and also incorporating new products through acquisitions such as Plasfab Engineered Systems, Baker Bros, T.N.T, Carolinch and Kentucky Automation equipment."
