Session presentations and papers will reflect future direction and suggest new standards for viscosity and rheology within CS96 to investigate.

W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.-A symposium on Viscosity and Rheology of In-Service Fluids as They Pertain to Conditions Monitoring will be held June 27 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square in San Francisco, Calif. Sponsored by ASTM International Committee D02 on Petroleum Products and Lubricants, the symposium will be held in conjunction with the June standards development meetings of the committee.

The general objective of the symposium is to hold a technical forum for presentations and discussions related to current research and practices relating to viscosity/rheology of in-service fluids as it pertains to condition monitoring and the impact of ASTM International standards on condition monitoring and associated businesses. Session presentations and papers will reflect the future direction and suggest new standards for viscosity and rheology within CS96 to investigate.

Online registration is now open and closes June 20. There is no fee to attend the workshop for ASTM members, presenters and students. The fee for non-members is $50 USD for online registration and $75 USD for onsite registration.
