W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.-ASTM International has released a new unique publication, Monograph 9, Spectroscopic Analysis of Petroleum Products and Lubricants, which examines 12 spectroscopic techniques used in oil industry laboratories.

The book features 24 chapters that provide a detailed discussion of the fundamentals of the techniques followed by their application in the oil analysis field. Chapters are divided into three sections: analytical basics, analytical technology and analytical applications.
