Fair Lawn, New Jersey, June 4, 2008 - Sandvik Coromant recently announced the appointment of Sven-Olof (S-O) Dahlqvist to the position of Senior Manager of Business Development for Machine Investments.
In his new role, Mr. Dahlqvist will work directly with Sandvik Coromant's sales force, distribution partners and investment managers to drive the company's machine investment strategy throughout the United States.
"S-O possesses extensive knowledge and experience in the area of machine investments," said Ignacio Telleria, National Manager of Machine Investment at Sandvik Coromant. "Additionally, his expertise in field and distributor sales, marketing communications and sales tools applications will make him a vital asset to the business development team for Sandvik Coromant US."
Prior to the promotion, Mr. Dahlqvist served as Senior Manager of Business Development for Sandvik Coromant's Original Tooling Services (OTS) in Sandviken, Sweden. The OTS program is designed to aid end users in the selection and integration of new machine purchases and the optimization of the manufacturing process from the first day of installation.
