Fort Loramie, OH - Select-Arc, Inc. has introduced a metal-to-metal wear hardsurfacing electrode that yields a low alloy, martensitic steel of mid-range hardness.
SelectWear 42 is a medium alloy martensitic steel wire that offers very good metal-to-metal wear resistance. It has the capability of welding crack-free multiple layers. This electrode is utilized for welding applications such as earthmoving idlers and rollers as well as mine car wheels.
SelectWear 42 is available in .045", 1/16", 7/64" and 1/8" diameters.
