This miniature valve could be the answer to your fluid control problem. The MBVMD mixing and diverting ball valve is incredibly small. It weighs only 12 grams and is exceptionally compact with a height of just 0.77 inch. Imagine the possibilities this valve offers to you for your next design.
What does a mixing and diverting ball valve do you ask? An excellent question. The MBVMD is designed with a common inlet port (let's call it port A) which can be put in communication with the outlet ports, individually (directing flow to port B or to port C), for diverting service. Flow can also be directed from port A to both port B and port C simultaneously. Alternatively, for mixing applications, flow can directed into ports B and C and out to port A.
In addition to the MBVMD we also offer the MBV ball valve (for on/off applications) and the MBVT selector ball valve (for directing flow to either port A or port B). All three ball valves are made from corrosion resistant 303 stainless steel (316 stainless steel is an option) with a selection of elastomer seal materials. Buna-N is standard. VitonŽ and EPDM are optional. A TeflonŽ seat is used to seal the ball.
