Labconco Corporation is pleased to announce it has received ISO 9001:2008 certification. This is the next step in ISO certification from the already established ISO 9001:2002. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) established ISO 9001 as a family of standards that state generic requirements for instituting a company's quality management system. Earning ISO 9001:2008 is evidence of Labconco's continues its commitment to quality and consistency in design and manufacturing. ISO is the world largest quality standards developing organization. Between 1947 and the present day, ISO has published more than 17,500 International Standards. It applies to all types of organizations no matter what size they are or what they do. It can help both product and service organizations achieve standards of quality that are recognized and respected throughout the world. The ISO standards adopted by this non-governmental organization are universally recognized and accepted.
