LDK Solar Signs New Module Supply Contract

XINYU CITY, China and SUNNYVALE, Calif. - LDK Solar Co., Ltd. ("LDK Solar") (NYSE: LDK), a leading manufacturer of multicrystalline solar wafers and PV products, today announced that the Company has signed a module supply contract with a leading Italy-based solar systems integrator. Under the terms of the agreement, LDK Solar will provide 45 megawatts (MW) of solar modules with monthly shipping expected to commence in June 2011.
