Vista System International, a fast growing Israel based pioneer and world leader in Modular Curved Frame (MCFT) Technology with US based operations in Sarasota, Florida, recently produced attention-getting signage for E.G. Maud and Sons (Pty) Ltd. for an ongoing Nedbank Ltd. project. The photos were taken at the bank's Clearwater Mall branch in Gauteng, South Africa. The Vista System was used to produce all the freestanding poster frames, suspended directional signs, wall mounted brochure holders, poster frames, triangular and double-sided signs, and suspended teller signs pictured.
Vista's signage had various functions for Nedbank. Some are directional, others are informational telling clients what services the bank offers, while some signs are used as poster frames and marketing publication stands. The sign systems succeeded in satisfying the bank's marketing requirements and building the bank's brand with eye-catching signage using the bank's primary color scheme for floor, wall, and ceiling applications. Best of all, the bank was able to have the sign systems designed in such a way whereby it could keep its messages uniform through all types of signage and the messages could also all be changed with ease by even a teller without any mechanical aptitude or experience in signage construction. Vista System's MCFT (modular frame curved technology) made the signage fast and easy to install and change.
Poster frames are shown as a vehicle for promoting Nedbank's automotive and asset finance services. This design innovation from Vista System allows for easy installation, removal, and replacement of the posters for when the bank wants to change its promotion to home loans, mutual funds, or whatever the bank has in mind.
Nedbank needed a custom sized frame for the posters to accommodate the standard Nedbank size poster. The signage was the easy part, but the poster frames also needed to be customized. After designing a special end cap to accommodate the Nedbank poster size, even this was simple. Challenges in this project included fast delivery of the entire project for the first branch opening as well as coming up with a solution that incorporated custom fabricated acrylic brochure holders into the Vista frames. Vista accomplished the latter by laser cutting slots into the Vista extrusions so the brochure holders could be clipped into the frames. Vista design engineers and production personnel worked around the clock to deliver the required signage on time and as a result, the first branch took less than 2 weeks. This was accomplished while meeting Vista's unparalleled quality standards, thus satisfying another world-class client. After completion of the first 10 branches, the client was so impressed with the Vista system they ordered for 150 more branches.
