Medfield, MA- ESCO Tool, a manufacturer and supplier of welding end prep tools, saws, and other specialty tools for the power generation, offshore pipeline, pulp and paper, and metalworking industries, has acquired and refurbished a 60,000 sq. ft. building in nearby Holliston, MA. Founded as the Evans Supply Company in Winchester, MA and purchased by the Brennan family in 1975, the firm has been located in Medfield since 1980.
ESCO Tool manufactures a wide range of portable end prep tools and saws for cutting and machining tube and pipe in preparation for welding; especially in high temperature and pressure applications. Because of the exotic alloys and hard-to-machine metals in power plants, their tools are ruggedly built, feature a patented cutter and blade lock design, and cut dry without fluids.
Sold under the MILLHOGŪ brand name, ESCO Tool provides a wide range of tools that perform specific maintenance and repair tasks quickly and economically. According to Matthew Brennan, president, "We have been the beneficiary of a growing power industry and are moving into a larger building in response to worldwide demand for our tools which are used for maintaining and upgrading existing power facilities as well as for new construction."
