Vista System International, a fast growing Israel based pioneer and world leader in Modular Curved Frame Technology (MCFT) with US based operations in Sarasota, Florida, recently had its versatile, fast growing MCFT used in the design of the lighted counter system pictured, which was produced by Signs Print of New Caledonia. MCFT is popular for wayfinding systems and is ideally suited for wall frames and brackets, directory signage, table stands, pylons, suspended signs, lit signage, and additional applications as vast as one's imagination.
This MCFT application was developed for a client that needed counters for a short exhibit. Signs Print wanted to offer a good, tough, lighted counter system and as always, their first idea was to find the solution with Vista products. They immediately imagined what they could do with MCFT. Lighted counter systems produced using MCFT components such as the one pictured, are ideally suited for tradeshow and convention displays plus a wide range of additional applications, which run the gamut from product demonstrations and sampling to information kiosks, special events, outdoor bars, sales counters, and more.
The biggest challenge in creating the lighted counter system was how to fit all these parts together. After attempting to design the lighted counter system using a few different MCFT component variations, Signs Print discovered the best solution, which was placing two long posts through the Vista System VL extrusions from the bottom to the top in order to reinforce the whole counter. They then added electricity, with tubes in the two parts as well a small spot to illuminate the wood counter.
MCFT was developed by sign professionals with the goal of filling a gap between fabricated sign and modular sign systems. It offers the best of both worlds by offering the advantages of a modern modular system with the ability to provide a highly customizable solution that meets the unique requirements of each signage project.
