Watsonville, CA- The ST series of step motor drives from Applied Motion Products is designed to offer machine builders a range of drives suitable for a wide variety of applications, but with a common learning curve when it comes to setup and programming. The drives use Configurator(TM) software to set up the required parameters and have a choice of Q or the Si, Simple Indexer, software.
The range consists of:
STAC6 - Full featured AC input, high voltage DC Bus, performance drive for high power applications.
ST Drives - DC input drives in 5A or 10A output, available in programmable or external control versions. A range of option cards can be added to increase functionality.
STM - Integrated step motor, drive and controller. All the system elements fused together to create a single unit. Reduced wiring and simpler installation make this unit a good choice for some applications.
All ST series drives feature Anti-resonance, Torque Ripple Smoothing, Microstep Emulation and Advanced Current Control.
