Agilent Providing Radio Law-Designated Calibration as New Service

SANTA CLARA, Calif.- Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced that the company has been accredited as a designated calibration agency under Japan Radio Law by the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications. Agilent is the first non-government designated calibration agency in Japan.

Under Japan law, calibration service is required for all test equipment used to maintain radio stations in the country. In the past, this service had to be delivered through a state-affiliated body.

Calibration certificates and calibration labels issued by Agilent meet the legal calibration needs of registered wireless maintenance companies under Japan Radio Law.

Not only does Agilent provide Radio Law designated calibration, but the company also confirms if the instrument meets its specification. Japan customers can order this service as part of periodic calibration.
