Two-day ASTM International training courses will cover ASTM E1527, Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process; and ASTM E1528, Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Transaction Screen Process. Developed by ASTM Committee E50 on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management, and Corrective Action, training courses will also detail U.S. EPA rule on All Appropriate Inquiry. Courses will be held 9 times between April 26 and November 16.

W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. - Phase I Site Assessment and the Transaction Screen Process" is the subject of a two-day ASTM International training course to be held nine times during 2011.
Recognizing the need for authoritative site assessment standards, ASTM pulled together environmental professionals, real estate and insurance professionals, lawyers and government representatives to develop its site assessment standards. Developed by ASTM Committee E50 on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management, and Corrective Action, the two standards are ASTM E1527, Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process; and ASTM E1528, Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Transaction Screen Process.
Many companies offer training on these standards, but the ASTM International course offers an opportunity to be trained by the organization that developed the standards. The latest version of the Phase I standard, ASTM E1527, and information on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency rule on All Appropriate Inquiry will be covered in this course.
