ASTM Announces Chairperson of flexible barrier packaging committee.

Dhuanne Dodrill is New Chairman of ASTM International Committee on Flexible Barrier Packaging



W. CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.-Dhuanne Dodrill, president of Rollprint Packaging Products Inc., Addison, Ill., is the new chairman of ASTM International Committee F02 on Flexible Barrier Packaging. The committee includes 185 members who oversee more than 56 standards for flexible barrier packaging, including the component barrier materials, their properties, and package design, development and production.

A member of ASTM International since 1996, Dodrill also serves on Committee D10 on Packaging.

Dodrill has more than 25 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry, and has held a variety of technical, quality assurance and management positions. She joined Rollprint Packaging Products, a flexible packaging converter specializing in technically innovative products for the health care, food and industrial markets, in 1982. She served as vice president of technology and executive vice president before assuming her current role in 2005.

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Dodrill is also a member of the Sterilization Packaging Manufacturers Council Executive Committee, the Institute of Packaging Professionals Medical Packaging Task Group, and the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation.
