Spokane Valley, Washington, USA - ACE Production Technologies will exhibit its popular KISS 101B Selective Soldering system in Booth #527 at SMTA International in Orlando, Florida, October 16 and 17,2012. In addition, ACE Production Technology's President, Alan Cable, and Process Lab Applications Manager Greg Goodell will co participate in the SMTA's innovative "Doctor's Hours" program, discussing Selective Soldering technology and process development. "Doctor's Hours" is a program whereby exhibitors arrange specific time slots when they will have their technical expert(s) available in their booth to diagnose visitor's technical problems and offer a 'prescription' (solution).
Both Alan and Greg will be available in the ACE booth, #527,between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on both days of the show, Oct. 16 and 17. Alan will focus more on an overview of the selective soldering process and its capabilities, while Greg will address specific process issues, applications, and problem-solving.
The KISS-101B is a low-cost automated selective soldering machine, featuring a lead alloy solder pot, spray fluxer, and a programming camera, all in an enclosed superstructure. The KISS-101B combines high throughput with precise process controls; programmable features provide the tools to set all process parameters, and once set, the system will repeat precisely.
