esd electronics, Inc.

Release date: August 11, 2008

Holger Zeltwanger, CEO of CiA (CAN in Automation), will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming, free CAN - CANopen Seminar on September 16, 2008 at the Warren Conference Center near Boston, MA.

Wilfried Voss, President of esd electronics, Inc is very pleased to announce that Holger Zeltwanger, CEO of CiA (CAN in Automation), will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming, free CAN - CANopen Seminar on September 16, 2008 at the Warren Conference Center near Boston, MA. Mr. Zeltwanger will share his views on CAN, CANopen, and J1939 technologies and answer questions you might have.

Mr. Zeltwanger is a founder of the international organization CAN in Automation (CiA), a nonprofit organization created to develop and support CAN Standards and CAN-based higher-layer protocols, and represent its members' interest in national and international standardization committees, such as ISO and IEC.

As a premier vendor of industrial strength CAN hardware interfaces, esd electronics, Inc. has made it a mission to provide technical information on CAN, CANopen and SAE J1939 beyond the standard. This mission has generated esd's latest project, the CAN - CANopen - J1939 Seminar Series; a series of free seminars designed to provide an opportunity to learn about the basics, implementation, and development of CAN (Controller Area Network), CANopen, and J1939. These free seminars offer an occasion to network with colleagues; learn about CAN, CANopen, and J1939, and have questions answered. The seminars also give decision-makers an excellent overview of the technology available for new projects.

Christian Keydel of the Embedded Systems Academy will join Mr. Voss and Mr. Zeltwanger to conduct the CANopen session at this free seminar. Mr. Keydel is a Director and tutor with the Embedded Systems Academy as well as co-author of the book, Embedded Networking with CAN and CANopen by Copperhill Media.

Join us as our guest - register for the seminar you are attending at our dedicated seminar website www.canseminar.com. Join us for one of these free seminars and bring your friends and colleagues to share this occasion to network, learn, and have your questions answered.

The seminars are scheduled for: CAN and CANopen Seminar - in the Boston, MA area September 16, 2008 - 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at the beautiful Warren Conference Center in Ashland, MA
