New Siemens 599 Series Zone Valve and Actuator Line Offers High Performance and Reliability

Buffalo Grove, Ill., June 25, 2003 - Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. has introduced to the North American market the 599 Series Zone Valve and Actuator line, which offers customers industry-leading features and performance.

In their class, 599 Series Zone Valves achieve the industry's highest standard close-off pressures, as well as the highest maximum flow rate. In addition, only Siemens 599 Series Zone Valves have all metal seating surfaces and linear stroke action for a tight, secure long-life seal.

For commissioning and service convenience, the new line also features manual override, visual position indication and automatic reset after power interruption. Like all Siemens' 599 Series Valves and Actuators, the new zone valves feature an exclusive direct-coupled design that requires no tools for installation; the actuator simply screws onto the valve body by hand - and a quick conduit connector for fast installation and low installed cost.
