Yellow DPSS Laser at 561nm Produces 60 MW of Single Frequency Output
Reno, Nevada - CrystaLaser, Inc. has produced yellow laser of single longitudinal mode operating at 561 nm at the highest power level, up to 60 mW on the market. The laser has a diffraction-limited (TEM00) beam and less than 0.5% (rms) of low noise in an ultra-compact laser housing. Lower output powers from 50 mW to 5 mW are also available. CrystaLaser GCL series green-yellow laser is ideally suited for excitation of Rhodamine, ROX, and Alexa Fluor dyes widely used in fluorescence-based bioanalytical instrumentation such as confocal microscopy and is a very attractive alternative to krypton-argon lasers.
The yellow laser shares the same mechanical dimensions with CrystaLaser's blue, green, red and infrared lasers. It has long lifetime of more than 10,000 hours and its power consumption is only as low as 12 W.
