EAST PROVIDENCE, RI USA -- September 2003 - EFD® announces the new Ultra TT Automation Series-a breakthrough in XYZ dispensing technology that brings a new level of accuracy and convenience to automated tabletop assembly processes.
For the first time, benchtop bonding, gasketing and filling operations can be programmed quickly and easily with a Palm(TM) handheld. Intuitive GUI (graphic user interface) software provides exceptional control of positioning and dispensing parameters, and makes setup much faster than standard XYZ
systems that use teaching pendants with menu-driven software.
For manufacturers, the compact Ultra TT Series' easy, accurate programming-combined with closed-loop servo controls and powerful drive motors for fast, precise positioning of the dispensing tip-means higher productivity, greater process consistency, and less scrap and rework.
The new Ultra TT automation systems are available with either 325mm x 325mm or 525mm x 525mm work envelopes, and are fully compatible with EFD's wide range of precision dispense valves and
syringe reservoirs. Factory-designed mounting brackets are available for each valve style and syringe size, which further shortens setup time by eliminating the need to fabricate custom hardware.
