First in a Series of Web Services Solutions Delivers Highly Scalable, Accurate Document Comparison Solution for .NET and Enterprise Server Market
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 17 - Workshare, the leading provider of document integrity solutions, today unveiled the Workshare Compare Service -- a Web services version of DeltaView, its market leading document verification solution and the de-facto standard for document comparison. Designed for the enterprise server market and available on the Microsoft .NET Platform, Workshare Compare Service provides users with the industry's leading comparison engine to enable fast, accurate and reliable document comparison without the need to install desktop software.
This initial Compare Service is the first in a forthcoming series of Workshare document integrity Web services solutions. It provides easy integration to existing and new applications using cross-platform Web services technologies with an option to run in-house or to integrate with Workshare's secure hosted service. In addition, Workshare has improved upon their DeltaView technology to provide up to 10 times faster market-leading speed, accuracy and reliability in comparing document drafts and analyzing and verifying content in Microsoft Word, Rich Text and XML output formats. It also provides solutions for eDiscovery and business intelligence by enabling users to identify changes to documents across their lifecycle and produce document change summary reports to alert on critical information updates that result in better informed business decisions.
Quickly Integrates into Existing Web Applications
Gimmal Group, Inc, the leading IT consulting company and EMC Documentum partner turned to Workshare Compare Service because of the increased demand for document comparison integrations to EMC Documentum Webtop.
