SMC's New Wireless Broadband Router Makes Cable & DSL Broadband Sharing Even More Cost-Effective

This new broadband router offers 802.11g 54 Mbps wireless connectivity, four 10/100 ports for wired connections and a 5th 10/100 port for cable or DSL connection. SMC's EZ Connect g Wireless Cable/DSL Broadband Router (SMCWBR14-G) is compatible with 802.11b and 802.11g wireless standards, so can connect existing and newer equipment at home or in the office. The 802.11g EZ Connect router supports 802.1x for authorization and authentication, and has a built-in Radius Server, Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), disable SSID broadcast, MAC address filtering, and 64/128/152-bit Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) in 802.11a mode and 64/128-bit WEP encryption. Network access can be further controlled with Website-blocking by URL or keyword.
