Original Press Release:
New Wireless Data Logger Collects Temperature, Humidity, Voltage, Pulse and Event Data from Remote Locations and Moving Equipment
CHESTERLAND, OH - March 8, 2005 - Computer Aided Solutions has introduced the RTR-50 Series of Wireless Data Loggers. This new product family includes temperature, temperature/humidity, and voltage/pulse/event loggers along with a hand-held data collector. These loggers are ideal for applications that require collecting data from moving equipment, from locations that are inaccessible or impractical to get to, from physically dispersed locations, or from vehicles. The RTR Data Loggers are suitable for use in wet, condensing or freezing environments.
A unique advantage of these data loggers is the RTR-57C Handheld Wireless Data Collector. This unit allows users to download stored or real-time data from the logger via a wireless radio link. This eliminates the need for having to take the logger to a PC or for taking a laptop into the field to retrieve data.
The RTR Data Collector has internal storage for 256,000 readings from up to 250 different logging sessions. The backlit LCD can display real-time data or charts of downloaded data. A USB interface, along with the T&D Recorder for Windows software package, allows data to be transferred to a PC and displayed as graphs and tables or exported to other software programs for analysis.
The RTR-50 Series of Wireless Data Loggers are available in four models, each with its own LCD display:
RTR-51 with an internal temperature sensor
RTR-52 with an external temperature sensor
RTR-53 with a combined external temperature and relative humidity sensor
RVR-52 which can measure voltage, pulse count or event time
These rugged, water resistant units can operate over a range of -40 to +80 °C and feature up to 16,000 points of internal data storage. Using an external sensor, the RTR-52 can measure temperatures from -60 to +155 °C. With the replaceable large-capacity battery pack, users can expect up to 2.5 years of continuous operation.
RTR Data Loggers start at less than $200 and the RTR Data Collector is less than $500. Complete specifications are available at www.DataLoggerSales.com
