Innovative Wireless Data Link Provides Connectivity for Environmental Monitoring Equipment


SANTA CLARA - Pacific Crest Corporation announces the release of the Environmental Data Link (EDL) wireless modem. Th EDL features a built in UHF transceiver and multiprotocol modem with data rates up to 19,200 bits per second. With up to 2 Watts RF output power, the UHF transceiver is type approved for operation in North America and Europe. The multiprotocol modem offers packet and transparent modes of operation, with forward error correction and repeater technologies.
