New Wire Mesh Drop Panel System Prevents Top Shelf Load Spills in Warehouses
Cargo-Shield, a new wire mesh panel restraint system from Cargotainer, has been specifically designed to prevent accidental load spills from the top shelf of pallet racks in storage warehouses. The wire mesh drop panels are attached to the pallet rack frame by means of a simple offset upright post which allows the panel to be moved up and down easily, tracking through a uniquely designed loop bracket. They lock securely in the 'up' position via a simple latch fitting. No fasteners, tools or devices are required to install or operate.
In the 'up' position, the panel guards act as a barrier to prevent loads from accidentally spilling into the aisle, protecting personnel against injury from accidental load spills. In the 'down' position, stockpickers have full access to product stored on the upper shelf of the rack.
