Lincoln Electric Introduces The Power Feed(TM) 10R Wire Feeder For Automated Applications



Cleveland, Ohio -- The Lincoln Electric Company introduces the new Power Feed(TM) 10R, a high performance, digitally-controlled wire feeder designed to be part of a modular, multi-process welding system. The Power Feed 10R mounts to a robot arm or can be used for hard automation. This unit is recommended for applications in the automotive, transportation, fabrication, furniture, lawn and garden, and agricultural industries, among others. It is capable of MIG, Pulsed MIG, STT® (Surface Tension Transfer®) and flux-cored processes.

The four drive roll wire feeder operates on 40v DC input power and is designed to operate with Lincoln power sources featuring Nextweld(TM) ArcLink(TM) digital communications, the leading communications protocol for welding. These power sources include Lincoln's family of Power Wave® robotic machines. The seamless integration of Lincoln's feeder, power source and networked equipment provides for superior welding performance on demanding robotic applications.

The Power Feed 10R features Lincoln's split wire guide which precisely aligns and supports the wire through the entire feeding system to provide trouble-free feeding and fast changeovers. The unit's brass-to-brass connections allow for good connectivity between the feeder and the gun. Modular construction means easy servicing and a self-loading wire feature creates ease in set-up.
