Introducing the All New VL600Q
Premier EDM manufacturer Sodick, Inc. has announced today that they will be unveiling a new model Wire EDM, the VL600Q. North America’s formal introduction will take place at Sodick’s Schaumburg, IL headquarters as part of Sodick’s Smart Technology Event from October 21st – 22nd.
The VL600Q is Sodick’s latest addition to their range of cost-friendly Wire EDM machines. This model features a larger XY-travel than other entry models, as well as an improved surface finish circuit and upgraded Super-Jet Automatic Wire Threader. The VL600Q also takes advantage of Sodick’s latest Motion Control technology, the M4-Link, which can make over 500 adjustments per second to maximize machining efficiency. This new addition affirms Sodick’s commitment to quality, and uses the advanced Rigid Linear Motor technology and custom ceramics which have become synonymous with the Sodick brand.
As with all Sodick machines, the VL600Q is fully manufactured in-house, and comes with a 10 year positioning accuracy guarantee.
