A new combination wire cutter and stripper featuring a thumb-adjustable cam that is stamped with gauge sizes and can lock the tool closed for storage or to fit in a pocket is being introduced by Xuron Corporation of Saco, Maine.
The Xuron Model 505 Adjustable Wire Stripper features a thumb adjustable cam dial that is permanently stamped with 12 to 26 AWG ( 2.05 to .405mm) wire sizes and locks for storage in a tool kit or pocket. Manufactured from alloyed steel, heat treated, and covered with Xuro-Rubber(TM) cushioned hand grips, this ergonomic hand tool combines a full by-pass flush cutter with the adjustable wire stripper.
Equipped with a Light-Touch(TM) return spring, making it ideal for repeated stripping in assembly operations, the Xuron Model 505 Adjustable Wire Stripper is designed for solid-wire. A model 505ST is offered for stranded wire and these easy-to-use strippers replace the need for multiple tools.
