New Version 4.3.0 Motioneering® Application Engine From Danaher Motion Takes System Approach To Motion Control Selection

WOOD DALE, IL - Danaher Motion introduces MOTIONEERING Application Engine Version 4.3.0. Version 4.3.0 is a Windows-based motor sizing program that uses a systems approach to the selection of conventional brushless servomotors, direct drive rotary and linear servomotors, DC servomotors and stepper motors and drives from a database of more than 1,700 products. This latest version features the new Kollmorgen CARTRIDGE DDR(TM) servomotors and S600 drive system data at 230, 400 and 480 VAC.
"The software uses a project concept for the collection and saving of multiple axes of load information. The user then has the flexibility to sum the effects of multiple axes of motion for power supply and shunt regeneration sizing," says Rick Armstrong, Application Tools Development Manager. "The program considers load and motor parameters, as well as the amplifier voltage and current parameters including the amplifier time to deliver peak current, in the sizing process" he says. The software also provides versatile unit selection options for mechanism and motion profile data entry with the ability to convert data into available units. Online help is available to explain functions, terms and equations.
