26-Inch Display Features Striking Color Reproduction, 1080p HD Resolution and Expanded Connectivity
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 7 -- - ViewSonic(R) Corp. continues to pioneer visual experiences on the desktop with the latest addition to its innovative VX 40 series widescreen LCD displays -- the 26-inch VX2640w. Boasting 3ms video response time, 1080p full high-definition (HD) native resolution and color saturation close to 25 percent better than traditional displays, the VX2640w is ideal for multimedia enthusiasts, gamers and graphic artists who demand smooth, broadcast-quality video and images with eye-popping color and contrast.
The VX2640w integrates ViewSonic's new OptiColor(TM) technology that offers high-quality color reproduction with a 102 percent color gamut based on the National Television System Committee (NTSC) guidelines. In comparison, most CRT and LCD monitors on the market today only display 70 to 80 percent of the NTSC's range of colors. In addition, the display also features a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 4000:1 (typ) for enhanced light and dark images resulting in richer colors and vivid graphics for discerning users.
