Introducing the Dressta 530E Wheel Loader

(Buffalo Grove - October 10, 2002)
Dressta North America announces the Dressta 530E Wheel Loader to the North American market as an exciting alternative within the 195 horsepower class. It's the first Dressta wheel loader to feature the cab mounted on the rear frame.

"The 530E delivers excellent operator comfort and outstanding performance without sacrificing the affordability that has become a Dressta hallmark," said Tom McGonigle, director of Dressta North America.

The 530E Wheel Loader is powered by a 195 hp Komatsu four-cycle turbocharged diesel engine. An electronically controlled powershift transmission can also be operated as an automatic with the flip of a rocker switch. The transmission shifts smoothly, yet it's rugged enough for the long haul. Hydrostatic steering provides smooth, responsive steering at any engine speed.

This versatile wheel loader can be equipped with various buckets from 3.7 to 5.9 cu. yd. capacities. The hydraulics feature a single, easy-to-use joystick with a transmission down shift and forward/reverse button.

The Dressta 530E offers excellent stability with more than 30,000 lbs. of straight tipload capacity when pulling up through a pile, giving the machine better tractive effort and production. The 530E has in excess of 25,000 lbs. of full turn tipload capacity when articulating and maneuvering with a load. This stability translates into faster cycle times and higher productivity. Bucket breakout forces, as high as 42,000 lbs., provide the 530E with outstanding productive capabilities in difficult environments.

A deluxe cab suppresses sound while offering exceptional visibility with a wrap-around tinted windshield. An optional ride control system stabilizes the bucket for improved productivity and more comfortable operation.

The front and rear frames give the 530E the structural integrity needed for the toughest applications. The frame weldments were designed for maximum strength with the use of casting and high strength steel. The front frame uses a combination of box sections and castings in strategic locations to maximize the structural strength even in logging applications. The rear frame is designed with solid high strength steel plates. The rigid, stable frames make the loader more productive by increasing stability and reducing stress.

The Dressta 530E is designed for easy maintenance with an electronic monitoring system that assists the operator with maintenance decisions and improves machine availability. The engine compartment has a specially designed set of side doors that lift high and out of the way for inspection and maintenance.

Dressta North America, headquartered in Buffalo Grove, IL, markets the Dressta Crawler Dozer, Wheel Loader and Crawler Loader lines of construction equipment. The company is a fully-owned subsidiary of Dressta Company, Ltd.
