Original Press Release:

D5100 Industrial Pressure Transducer True Wet/Wet Differential

Measurement Specialties, Inc. (NASDAQ: MEAS), an expert in sensor design and manufacturing, introduces its new model D5100, a true wet-wet differential industrial pressure transducer. The transducer has two pressure ports for high and low pressures and all wetted parts are made of 316L stainless steel. It has a full scale differential pressure range from 1 psi (0.07 Bar) through 500 psi (35Bar) and is available in 2 versions: amplified and mV output. The amplified model is CE certified and includes reverse polarity wiring protection.

The D5100 embodies our reputable piezoresistive low pressure capable differential pressure sensor and proven robust electronics of our UltraStable(TM) series pressure transducer. Its modular design prompts easy configuration with the maximum usage of our standard components and proven processes, thus results in a reliable and yet cost-competitive product.

The D5100 features: a rugged construction that can withstand up to 50g shock/20g vibration, excellent stability, pressure linearity as low as ±0.1%, up to -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range, and various output/fitting/electrical configuration options. Applications that the D5100 include but are not limited to: process controls, tank level measurement, filter performance monitoring, corrosive fluids and gas measurement systems, and flow measurements.
