Amazing New High Hardness Hardfacing Wire Doesn't Cross Check



St. Louis, MO (July 18, 2006) -- Stoody's new 964 welding electrode can reach a 64 Rockwell C hardness and not cross check when welding on mild steel, 300 series stainless and manganese steel alloys. The welding wire is available in both .045 (1.2 mm) and 1/16 (1.6 mm) diameters, and is packaged on 33-pound spools.

Stoody 964 is used where cross checking is undesirable and where the user requires better operating appeal versus conventional chromium carbide alloys. Applications include farm implements, valve bodies and trim and screw conveyors. It has a U.S. patent pending.
