Aim Analytical Announces Aim Enterprise 3.3 Availability

Additional editable capabilities added for gathering more precise data

Chicago, Ill., Sept. 6, 2006 -- AIM Analytical LLC has announced AIM Enterprise version 3.3 featuring enhancements in the user's ability to edit and enter more precise data as well as increased control of downtime and production.

The new editing capability allows the user to edit recipe and fault descriptions, providing more control of real-time changes on the shop floor. Additionally, the ability to edit descriptions of buttons allows users to take control of the software. This eliminates any waiting time for a software update or patch to tailor the software to a particular need.

Another feature of AIM 3.3 is the ability to change downtime reasons and even split downtime between scheduled and unscheduled. An editable stroke and scrap screen will allow users to provide precise production reporting information right down to the stroke to keep better tabs on production and provide exact scrap counts to help increase efficiency.

AIM Enterprise is designed for any plant floor environment and allows a manufacturer to know -- in real time -- equipment status, maintenance requirements, efficiencies and productivity levels of every machine in any plant. It is a modular, web-based manufacturing intelligence solution that merges plant floor information into the corporate structure through the intranet or Internet. Its open architecture and use of industry standard practices allow it to seamlessly integrate with a company's current ERP and MIS systems, leveraging the existing IT investments.

"Without proper plant floor visibility, data acquisition and monitoring tools, lost productivity can slowly chip away at your profitability," says Todd Hernandez, AIM Analytical vice president of business development. "Over time, this adds up to huge dollars. Enterprise-wide manufacturing intelligence programs used to be considered a luxury. But, in today's economy, they are a requirement for manufacturers that intend to succeed long term."

DaimlerChrysler, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, and Nissan, as well as many Tier One automotive suppliers currently use AIM software. For more information on AIM Analytical and AIM software solutions, visit www.aim-analytical.com.
