AliMed® Offers New Wearwell® Specialty Mats
March 1, 2006, Dedham, MA- AliMed® inc., a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of quality ergonomic products, carries three new Wearwell® specialty mats: the Grade "A" Food Production Mat, the Emergency Shower Mat, and the Emergency Eyewash Station Mat. All mats are now available in AliMed's new 2006 Issue 2 Ergonomics catalog.
Made from a specially formulated, antibacterial Nitrile rubber composite, the Grade "A" Food Production Mat is designed to withstand vegetable oils, animal fats, citric acid, and fish oil. Its numerous hygienic holes simplify cleaning and minimize areas where food and bacteria can collect. The Grade "A" Food Production Mat is knobbed on the underside for quick drainage, and flat, yet textured on the topside to increase traction when greasy or wet. It features built-in handles for easy transportation and cleaning.
The Emergency Shower and Emergency Eyewash Station Mat are designed to draw attention to emergency equipment and prevent accident victims from slipping. The shower mat has highly visible red tiles and the eyewash station mat has green tiles that help employees find first aid stations in emergencies. On both mats, a 6"-wide yellow border denotes caution; it gradually slopes from 7/8" high to the floor for safe access. Drainage ports throughout the mats keep employees safely above the overflow area while hazardous chemicals wash off.
