Laser Devives, Inc. Announces the U.S. Army Tested MK93 WAB (Weapon Accessories Bracket)
SHOT Show, 2012, Laser Devices, Inc. is pleased to announce the U.S. ARMY tested
MK93 WAB (Weapon Accessories Bracket).
The NEW state-of-the-art MK93 WAB was independently tested by the U.S. ARMY and a
TACOM approved laboratory in accordance with MIL-STD-810G. Specifically designed to
meet the aiming and illumination needs of Crew-Served Weapons operators, the universal
MK93 WAB has been verified interoperable with ALL aiming lasers and lights compatible
with MIL-STD-1913/Picatinny rails including our NEW MMGL, 4000 lumen Crew Served
Weapon light with optional IR LED Illuminator and the U.S. DoD AN/PEQ-15A (DBAL-A2).
In addition to the equipment documented above, the MK93 WAB is fully compatible with the Surefire Hellfighter® weapon light with the use of our field changeable adapter system.
Provisions for secure cable routing have been incorporated into the MK93 WAB design
allowing interference-free operation through the entire range of motion within the OGPK
(Objective Gunner's Protection Kit) Armor Shield. Unique to this product is its two-piece adjustable design. This characteristic provides compatibility with training environments using the BFA (Blank Firing Adapter) and also enables safe operation with the MK19 machine gun. Additional provisions include access points for tool-free barrel changes when using all M2 QCBs (Quick Change Barrels).
Manufactured from a high strength carbon steel and aluminum alloy with MIL-SPEC CARC
finish, the MK93 WAB balances requirements between extreme durability and weight.
Minimal weight combined with common fasteners ensures simple installation and
adjustment without the need for special tools.
The MK93 WAB is supplied with all necessary fasteners, thorough instructions and a
storage/shipping container.
