Waveform Digitizer achieves 13 GHz analog bandwidth.

Press Release Summary:

Built without display and taking up 3U height in test rack, WDM 5000 Series allows system integrators requiring high-speed DAQ to achieve high-fidelity, deep memory waveform acquisition. Data transfer can reach sustained rates of 120 Mbps, and up to 4 Gpoints of waveform memory promotes accuracy of measurement and statistical analysis. Also, custom measurement algorithms may also be built directly into FPGA-based digital processing engine.

Guzik Enhances WDM 5000 High Speed Waveform Digitizer Series to Achieve 13 GHz Bandwidth

On-Board Customizable Hardware-Based Waveform Processing Available at Highest Analog Bandwidths

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 12 -- Guzik Technical Enterprises today announced that their WDM 5000 Series Waveform Digitizers now achieve up to 13 GHz of analog bandwidth. The WDM 5000 waveform digitizers allow system integrators requiring high-speed data acquisition to achieve high fidelity, deep memory waveform acquisition. In addition, users can work with Guzik's engineers to define and implement custom waveform processing algorithms in hardware on board the instrument to achieve data throughput surpassing the traditional systems. The WDM 5000 Series digitizers have no display and take only 3U of height in a test rack. These products address demanding ATE and OEM applications in avionics, military electronics, physics, astronomy, semiconductors, and a variety of other disciplines.

"The WDM 5000 Series is finding success with customers who require high speed acquisition, but also need to quickly process the acquired data on-board the instrument and stream results rapidly over the PCI Express interface. Our ability to transfer data at sustained rates of 120 Mbyte/sec helps our users achieve these goals," said Alex Varlahanov, Guzik's Senior Director of System Development.

With up to 4Gpoints of waveform memory, the accuracy of measurement and statistical analysis provided by the WDM 5000 Series can be significantly greater than traditional systems. Custom measurement algorithms are built directly into the WDM 5000's FPGA - based digital processing engine.

Each of the WDM 5000 waveform digitizer models sell for $69,000 and are available for ordering immediately. Customers also receive the WDM 5000 Signal Explorer software utility providing control, display and waveform export capability. Matlab ICT drivers are also provided.

Interested customers should contact sales@guzik.com or consult www.guzik.com for more information.
